Bassistry Music was established by Marcel Pusey in 1993. The aim is to bring professional working musicians expertise back to the classroom. Bassistry Music has become a thriving Company providing a diverse range World Music, Song writing, Music Technology and Dance workshops in schools throughout the UK. The company now works in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and the USA.
Awards - Bassistry Music won the Shell Livewire Award for ‘Outstanding Business’ in 1995.
Television - Bassistry Music has produced music and appeared in television programmes for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. (Stop, Look and Listen, Sunny & Jim Jam).
The Music Industry The Bassistry Team continue to perform, record and play at the highest level in a wide range of musical genres. Artists include Plan B, Professor Green, Paloma Faith, Bollywood Brass Band, Oi Va Voi, Tom Jones, The Streets, Corinne Bailey Rae.
Multimedia - Marcel Pusey is also the Director of O-Music Ltd and co designer of O-Generator Education Software. O-Generator is used throughout the world, initially distributed by Sibelius Music software, and now is part of publishers Music Sales Group.
Guest Speaker - Marcel Pusey is a keynote speaker, presenter and workshop leader. He has appeared at (Australia) MTEC 2009 & 2011, (USA) T:I:M:E 2011. Hong Kong CPD 2012, 2013 and (Singapore) Music Learning Live Asia 2013.
